Tarak Peak is situated in Maraviles, Bataan. To head for Bataan, we took a ferry in the seaport at Roxaz Boulevard. While sailing, Mother Nature unveiled the calm sea and the lucid blue sky. The scenic view was apparently facade and the sight utterly relieves the burnout we get from the loads of office works in the city. We arrived at the place in no time. It took us 1 hour to reach the place. From the wharf, we need to hire a van to take us to Maraviles. At around 2 o’ clock we started trekking. The sun was at its peak, and so the heat was really intense. But this occurrence did not serve as hurdle for us to keep going. We marched along the wilderness determined. And then after the long trek we reached Papaya River. The sun has gone down below the horizon so we opted to set our camp, and agreed to climb the peak the next day. That night was very cold. And the water in the river was chilled so we can’t take a swim. The sound of drifting water is very relaxing and calming. A chitchat and social drinking ends the night after an arduous walk.
